The Blurb…

He needed a job — he never expected to need his boss.

Thomas’s life can be pared down to one principle: Be as successful as possible by being as single-minded as possible. But his commitment to his goal is tested upon returning home to his mansion and finding his gorgeous new gardener in his library.

Luke is a student, and his new job is perfect: decent income and a place to study that’s quiet, peaceful, and stocked with useful resources. The last thing he expects to find there is a stunning man who offers to open up all the doors that Luke has yet to be brave enough to peek behind.

Thomas is happy to wait for Luke to come to him, but when he does, Thomas has no intention of holding back…

So what did I think?

This was a cute short story and a nice way to while away some time. It may be a bit common but I just love the matching together of the rich business man and the sexy gardener!

Thomas is focused on his business. He doesn’t have time for men other than quick one-night stands. He has money, he has a mansion, he has exotic cars and a driver. He has a butler named Jenkins.

Luckily Jenkins lets the young sexy gardener, Luke, use the library in the mansion for his studies. Luke is making his way through school in an effort to become an architect. He doesn’t want or accept help and isn’t impressed by money or the trappings of Thomas’ life. However, he is excited by the man himself.

It’s a short story so not much time to get to know the characters therefore I didn’t overly warm to Thomas but I did like Luke and enjoyed seeing him discovering that, yes, he definitely was gay!

This book is due for release on 1st March.

A copy of this book was provided by the publisher via Netgalley in return for my honest review.
