Better Than Sex
by Kim Dare
The Blurb…
Brody has been admiring the new-guy at the engineering firm where he works for the last six months. Wallace is all the things Brody isn’t—confident, stunning, sex on legs, oh, and straight. Brody is resigned to considering working alongside Wallace the highlight of his week and fantasizing about Wallace the full extent of his sex life, but apparently Wallace has other ideas.
The moment he joined the firm, Wallace knew he’d have trouble keeping his hands off Brody. In an effort to stay professional at work he’s kept his sexuality to himself, but that’s about to change. When he hears Brody say that seeing the latest project leave the premises is better than sex, Wallace knows he has to take action. It’s time someone taught Brody how good sex can be—especially when it’s served up with a generous helping of leather.
So what did I think?
Imagine lusting after the ‘straight’ guy at work for months and then finding out he was just waiting for the project to end so that he could focus on what he really wanted– to open your eyes to your truly submissive nature. And it doesn’t take much for Brody to realise that Wallace is absolutely right.
“In that moment, he kne that Wallace really could do anythingwith him–not because he was bigger or stronger, but because Brody would simply let him.”
Cute little quickie with some hot sexiness going on. 3 stars
Different
by Kim Dare
The blurb..
Matthew and Stuart have been dating for more than five months and Stuart thinks things are going well—right up until the moment Matthew suggests they try something different, the kind of different that involves bondage, spanking and leather.
Matthew’s been building up to making this suggestion for weeks, dropping subtle hints and hoping Stuart won’t completely freak out at the mention of kink. Now, with Matthew’s desires out in the open, all he can do is hope that introducing something different will make their relationship perfect rather than destroy it completely…
What did I think?
I liked the uniqueness of the situation. Two men in an established relationship where one needs to work up the courage to find out whether the other is open to ‘doing something different one night’? And no, Matthew wasn’t talking about taking Stuart out to try some sushi! 🙂
“I do enjoy a little bit of leather now and again,” he admitted.
Casual enough? Too casual? Clear enough to make himself understood? Too likely to make Stuart run for the vanilla flavoured hills?
This is very light BDSM as Matthew shows Stuart what he wants out of their relationship and shows him that he is not like Stuart’s ex.
3.5 stars – it was nice to see the lighter side and focus on the difficulty of broaching a potential delicate topic! 🙂
Making It Count
by Kim Dare
The blurb…
Duncan’s wanted to do a scene with Toby ever since he met him in their first study group of the year, but when Toby failed to flirt back, or pick up on a single kinky hint, Duncan knew he had no choice but to back off. He always thought that Toby would be interesting if he ever came out of the kinky closet—but it never even occurred to Duncan that he’d suddenly find the boy standing on the doorstep of the club he runs.
Toby’s been fascinated and intimidated by Duncan in equal measure for months. When his flat-mate bails out on a kinky play-date with Duncan at the last moment, Toby’s need overtakes his nervousness. Before he has time to think twice, he’s there, offering himself up as a replacement sub for the night.
This might be the only chance Toby has to fulfill all his fantasies surrounding Duncan—and he’s determined to make it count.
So what did I think?
This is the perfect story for those wanting to explore something a little different – not too kinky, but an interesting start as Toby has to prove how much he wants to spend some time playing with Duncan.
Duncan usually plays with Mike, his flatmate, but Mike can’t make their regular appointment so Toby goes in his place. Inexperienced, he doesn’t really know what he’s agreeing to.
A little bit of voyeurism starts the scene as Toby is left to kneel before a closed front door to show Duncan just how far he is willing to go.
3 stars for this little quickie.
