Guest Blog & GIVEAWAY! We welcome RJ Scott

Today we are lucky to have a visit from RJ Scott to talk about two of her books. Plus there’s a fabulous giveaway!

RJ Scott

Welcome to of my mini author tour, thank you to Two Men Are Better Than One for having me…

When I was at the UK meet I was told by readers on more than one occasion that they thought I just wrote paranormal, or I just wrote contemporary. Of that they knew about Texas, but had never heard of the Sanctuary series. So I came up wit this idea… highlight two very different books, or series, and add in some cool prizes and maybe readers might find something new from me.

Today I thought I would focus on two books featuring canine characters with a very different spins. Deefur Dog and Shattered Secrets (In the Shadow Of The Wolf book 1, written with Diane Adams).

These two books are nothing alike. One is a contemporary love story, the other a love story set in a paranormal world.

Deefur Dog is a standalone book telling the story of widowed Cameron Jackson who is attempting to juggles his business, his two year old daughter and Deefur, his Great Dane. When he realises he has no choice but to find Deefur a new home he thinks he will never be happy again. When he meets the perfect nanny, who not only is good with dogs and children but is also easy on the eye he finally begins to feel settled. This story is about recovering from loss and realising it is possible to love again. It is often called a sweet story that tugs on the heartstrings.

On the other hand Shattered Secrets is book one in a paranormal series I wrote with the wonderful Diane Adams (Making of a Man series, Last First Kiss). Jamie is a werewolf and when he sleeps with Rob, he doesn’t realise that Rob would freak out when he finds out about Jamie’s furry side. Rob has no problem with wolves in general, but human/wolf relationships are not on his to-do list. When Jamie becomes involved in a crime involving sex slaves it is everything that Rob can do to keep his young lover alive. The stories are action/adventure and romance.

  5. Thanks for bringing these books to my attention. I think I’ve only read one book from RJ before, and I clearly have been missing out on a lot. Thanks for the giveaway!

  6. I just bought In the Shadow of the Wolf series the other day and am looking forward to reading them. Thak you for the giveaway.

  7. I love both of these books. They are amazing and so beautifully written. Shattered Secrets is definitely one of my favourite paranormal romances and Jamie is by far my favourite character. I especially love him in the sequels too.

  8. I have read & enjoyed reading quite a few of RJ’s books, but have not had the chance to read these two yet. They are on my wish list, as both are so appealing for different reasons, a sweet love story about healing and the other a shifter romance with a bit of angst and I like that RJ can write the lighter romances as well the slighter darker ones as well.

    • Hi Sula! I can recommend anything that RJ writes! She has such diversity in the genre and you can’t go wrong. She’s always been a go-to author for me. Hope you enjoy!

  9. Loved Deefur – great dog, great book. I also really enjoyed In the Shadow of the Wolf series. I’ve read just about everything you’ve written – big fan!

  10. RJ is an autobuy for me. I agree with Robyn, you can’t go wrong with her books. No matter which genre the story falls in..I’ve loved each and every one of them!

  11. Deefur Dog was a sweet book I enjoyed it. I have not read Shadow of the Wolf yet but it looks interesting.

  12. It’s interesting that so many people never thought to look for books in other genres, this sounds like the perfect way to correct that oversight.

    • Hi Danny, you won second prize… email me ( and let me know which book of mine you would like and whether you want epub, pdf or mobi (Kindle)… HUGS and congrats! RJ XXXXXX
